Green Affiliate Programs Newsletter - January 26, 2010

First things first, Green Affiliate Programs is pleased to announce we have launched a community forum. It's brand new, so please stop by, sign up for free, start a discussion, pose a question or just say hi! Green affiliates like yourself truly hold the key in helping spread the reach of the green movement on the Web, and the community forum can help us all in this regard. Visit the Forum HERE. Now, time for some green affiliate program updates:

NETWORK UPDATES:

Having put an end to the AdSense Referral program, Google Affiliate Network (GAN) is fully integrated with Google Accounts and already boasting several merchants in the Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) sector. Many of these were originally in the Performics network and include Arbico Organics, Garden's Alive (excluding New York based affiliates like myself), MicroPlace Social Investing, HebsPro, CO Bigelow Chemists, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, eLightBulbs, and bamboo/cork flooring providers, iFloor and Build Direct. In case you are wondering, online purchases of thousand dollar + orders of bamboo flooring do indeed take place online. One of our partner sites, www.hardwoodbambooflooring.net has converted sales more than once!

If you are not already a member of GAN and don't have an AdSense account (it's free), you must first Apply to open an AdSense Account

If you already have an AdSense account, you can Apply to open a GAN Account HERE

Note: Even if you were previously in the Google Affiliate Network or Performics, the integration time period to sync your account with AdSense is over. You will have to Reapply to GAN. Simply provide your AdSense ID for a fast approval.

PERFORMANCE-BASED NETWORK update:

If you didn't hear already the Performance-Based solar products merchant, SolarSphere, has added a new campaign paying 15% on Build-Your-Own solar power kits. This is one of the only affiliate programs of its kind, carrying a large supply of solar panels and solar power kits.

NEW AFFILIATE PROGRAMS:

Green Affiliate Programs has caught wind of several new home energy audit affiliate programs and Carbon Offsetting Programs. The banner in the left-hand margin is that of Solar Energy and Efficiency Solutions (SEES), and is the newest addition to our directory (yet to be published). They pay a massive 20% commission on all new sign-ups. Visit SEES  and get a free energy audit while you're there.

Home Energy Efficiency Report also pays commissions on home energy audits. Their affiliate program is three-tier and pays a whopping 30% on tier 1. Visit Home Efficiency Report

Our latest Carbon Offsetting affiliate programs include Carbon Advice Group (now free to sign up).

Visit our Carbon Offsetting Affiliate Programs Page for more details.

EXPO/NETWORKING UPDATES:

Last but not least, we are pleased to report that the latest Green Expo event in Los Angeles was a major success. Both B2B and Business to Consumer day events had large turnouts. The next Green Expo will be held in New York City, March 19-21, which Green Affiliate Programs will be attending.

For merchants attending the next Green Festivals event (San Francisco), organizers Green American and Global Exchange have issued a warning that a Mexico-based operation is sending out fraudulent contracts. Event organizers warn all exhibitors to not sign anything before first speaking with a staff member of GreenFestivals.org.
